What does P. Diddy feel like when he wakes up?????

So, lately I've been casual to the extreme (at least for me). It's shortened how long it takes me to get ready for work or ready for the day. In fact, yesterday I woke up at 7:42. Oops! I was out the door by 7:44. I threw on my clothes and brushed my teeth. Brushed my hair, put on concealer and powder at a stoplight. I got to work 2 minutes late. I put on eyeliner while standing at my locker. (My rule is that if I forget every bit of eye makeup, I'm good as long as I have on eyeliner. It helps that my lashes are naturally black.) Chapstick stays in my pocket all day. It makes life so much easier. New routine: Hair is tossed into a smooth ponytail with a cute and/or colorful bobby pin holding back my bangs. Wearing my glasses more often. Makeup consists of concealer , setting powder , eyeliner , mascara and chapstick Total comes to five pieces. All of which I can toss in my makeup bag and keep in my purse. Along with a lash curler. Boyfriend said this still sounded like a lo...

Childfree by choice

At this time in our lives, the boyfriend and I have made the decision to not have children. This is not a decision we have taken lightly. It's not a decision we made yesterday. Or after babysitting someone else's kids. I didn't hate babies when I was a teenager and decide then I was never going to have kids. Ever. GOSH!!!! I don't hate kids. They're funny sometimes. They're cute. Sometimes they're huge brats. This really had nothing to do my personal decision to not have children. Many, many other things did. I believe that people who choose to be childfree because they think babies are smelly and droolly are more likely change their minds later in life. Of course, I have no longitudinal study to support my musings. Moving on... I have to deal with nearly every woman I've ever met telling me "Oh, it's different when they're yours!" Oh, really? So before you had kids you absolutely didn't want to have children? You had already made a...

Picture are from Temptalia ! It's really a wonderful site, you much check it out! I don't own any of these pictures! I just wanted to share with you all the awesomeness that is Temptalia and it's founder Christine. The lovely above is Lancome's Temptingly Bronze Bamboo Bronzer.... Just look at it. I'm bamboozled. Hahaha. (Sorry.) Isn't it gorgeous! Isn't it amazing! But then, look what happens after the first application (or two): I'm heartbroken. No really. The pink and gold are all gone. You're left with a less inspiring bronzer, I think. I'm sure the product is wonderful, but after the first image, I'm all "meh." Oh well. This is really why I subscribe to Temptalia in the first place. I love to see the pretty new MAC collections , the gorgeous Guerlain products . But I'll probably never buy. I might buy a highlighting powder from a MAC collection someday (god, I wanted one from Dame Edna , did I ever). But, all in all, it...

White strips

I started using Crest Advanced Seal 3D white strips. I wish I had taken before/after, but I didn't. It's really working though. I've always been a little touchy about my yellow teeth (THANKS SO MUCH DAD!) It runs in the family. We all have yellow teeth. Awesome. Well, I hate to go so long without posting. Then when I look back on March/April, I'll have though my life was really boring. I work at Walgreens now, loves it. Not stressful. I develop pictures. Some are cute, some are hilarious, and then there is the butt sehks pictures we are unable to develop My bosses are cool, my co-workers are cool. Yup. Anyway, I'm going to go blow up Megaton or something.

More than you ever wanted to know about my dental habits

I don't have the best dental hygiene habits. I brush every day, of course. But I often forget to brush before bed. And forget about flossing. I hardly even use Listerine, despite having a whole liter of citrusy mouthwash. But, I'm all anal about having good healthy habits (except when it comes to eating, of course. BACON AND COFFEE). I always wear sunscreen and sunglasses. I wash and moisturize my face every night. Never forget the eye cream. I try to drink between 6-8 8oz glasses of water a day (I'll count real fruit juice, but not soda or kool-aid). It seems silly that I don't always drink six glasses of water a day, but there you have it. I rarely drink these days. I don't smoke -- Interesting aside, I almost took up smoking. Two things stopped me. 1) K-Swiss is extremely opposed to it. Extremely. 2) It ages you quite quickly! I once read an Allure article about anti-aging, with tips and advice. When it was listing all the things to do (stay hydrated, eat he...

Dear Ponds, I heart you.

No matter how dedicated I become to Mary Kay -- and believe me, I can't wait for a complete switch out of my entire skin care regimen -- I will always be in love with my Ponds Dry Skin Cream**. It ranks 7th in Total Beauty's 19 Awesome Face Moisturizers , above some high end brands (Benefit, Origins, Estee Lauder) and even a doctor recommended brand (Cetaphil, I've never heard of a brand more recommended to friends by derms than Cetaphil). It says you can use it during the day, but I only ever use it at night. Every night, after washing my face I use acne cream (if needed), eye cream, and then I slather this stuff all over my face and neck and massage it in. I'm pretty generous. I don't want it all to absorb into my skin, because then my face would feel dry again. I mean, I don't coat my face with the cream, but my skin feels soft, maybe even a little oily to the touch. That way, I feel like my skin absorbs the cream all night. I wake up and my face isn't o...
