Also, it is 2 am and 80 degrees outside. this is fucked up. isn't it supposed to get colder during the night?

No no, I wasn't too bad, but it was 2 am, very dark, on a college campus, which includes other drunken driving people. But, they're driving cars.

No one knows their own limits better than that person themselves. If you didn't feel safe, I would say go with it and stay in for the night. Mary is by far too precious (is that how you spell it, I thought there was an s in there?) a commodity to be squandered away on a drunk biking accident. Also, there are millions of miles of sidewalk to ride on here if you see a car, I'll take it there isn't out by your school? From what I remember of that area, it is kind of hilly and mountiany, right? Better to open a window and enjoy the warm breeze.
