Pixel Imperfect

Today, I attempted to recreate the makeup worn by Faith in Mirror's Edge. This was inspired by my new haircut which the SO says looks like Faith's. Except for the bangs. Plus her makeup is pretty sweet. Actually, on Faith it's a tattoo. Because she's bad ass like that. I think I did pretty well, actually. I might be faith for Halloween this year. It'll be another year in which no one at my party gets it . I never do the costumes perfectly. For example: last year, I wore a plaid school girl skirt instead of a khaki school girl skirt as a Battle Royale character. I hope I can find white or light khaki skinny cargos by Halloween. I'll wear my red converse pants and see if I can't find a decent messenger bag. Red fingerless gloves and black arm sweatband should be easy. It'll be fun to draw her tattoo on my arm with a sharpie. Or, more likely, make a stencil and have the SO draw it on. Anyway, it got me thinking other female video game characters

Motto of independant coffee shops everywhere. I really am a fan of coffee. I had my first sip of coffee around age 11. It was mostly milk and sugar, but boy did I feel fancy. Plus Mama let me drink the coffee out of one of her fancy tea cups. The summer after 9th grade, I began to spend all my money and free time at The Coffee Beanery (now closed) in downtown Greenville. I was hanging out with people 2-6 years older than me, and I loved it. I was like their little puppy, but that was ok. I had a huge crush on the barista, who was a senior from my high school. I loved chocolate espresso, but would mostly stick to cappuccino. *Sob* In college, I found a decent little coffee shop a mile from the school. I would go there to study on occasion. Or, you know, not study at all. I'm nervous about attending grad school this month and I really really wish I could just be a full time student. Wouldn't that be sweet? Doing fucking research on my days off instead of no days off. If anyone wants to be my sugar daddy, let me know. I need a stipend of at least 800/month.
