Pulling my hair back to show off the makeup and earrings was a mistake. I realize that.

I totally altered something. I bought a dress from Goodwill that was an XL. I bought an XL on purpose so that I could try to alter it. And it was goodwill so if I messed up-- no big. Well it's only sorta messed up and not really noticeable :D I already had a version in black. I love this dress. It's kinda of like a ponte knit cocktail dress. It's a comfy and fitted LBD. Great for wearing with cardigans but looks pretty smashing on it's own. I also like to wear it with thin knit sweaters or tee-shirts underneath. This one is purple. You'll see it today. I'll either wear it with a printed cardigan or a navy turtleneck. Jury's still out.

With crappy lighting (it's not like I can balance my phone on the stair railing outside). I even stood on my vanity chair (a basket with a cushioned lid) at one point to try and get a full body shot. But it's a CLEAR fail. Whatever. It's not like I'm one of those bloggers with several dozen people waiting to see their outfits. I don't think I even have several follows waiting to see my outfits.

I think it's because I once bought socks for my brother from a shoe store via ebates. But if they're sending me deals for shoe stores, why can't it be something like Aldo or Zappos?
