:P - Humor, give me a break. Logical reasoning is the most significant activity of the human brain. Humor is based on whimsical logical comparisons and illogical inconsistancies.

:-P I don't find the quotes, I go to the meme "...in other words..." and copy and paste. However, I concur that humor is NOT the most significant activity of the human brain. It does not take much to come up with something witty and amusing

Ha, it's not hard for you to come up with something witty and amusing because your smart and funny. All I'm saying is that "most significant" is a bit of a streatch, seeing as how a good toddler hits dad in the groin with baseball bat video clip always makes me laugh. And that ain't exactly rocket science.

I think Edward de Bono chose his words poorly. "Significant" is a rather ambiguous term. Perhaps he meant that humor is the activity our brains focus on the most (even though there are other brain functions that warrant and require more concentration), if that makes sense. Would anyone agree if that was what he did mean?
