Pixel Imperfect

I just drank a whole bottle of some fruity, two-dollar-a-bottle, wine. Fruitzia or something. And, well, that coupled with the "do not consume alcohol" label on my Paxil and Depakote bottles, I'm a little tipsy. By that, I mean I'm drunk. My, I write well for a drunk, don't I? I'm backspacing a lot to do corrections. But, I'm not wasted. I'm just the right amount of drunk. Very giggly. It's been a very long time since I've been able to drink and not be sick. I'm quite pleased. I'm visiting a friend this week and, if we drink, this will be my drink of choice. Liquor makes me sick in an instant. Anyway, off to drink copious amounts of water and fall to peaceful sleep. Love Stargirl

So, my flat screen monitor stopped working. I'm gonna fiddle with it, I think it may have been the cord. Anyway, now you look all fuzzy, reader. Sorry. Blame the crappy old school monitor I've got. Also, keeping up with a food journal has been interesting. Yesterday, I ate almost no potassium. I decided to just start eating bananas. Then today, I was filling out what I ate for "brecky." (I woke up at two pm.) Much more potassium. Could it be that I was just eating crap yesterday? Hmmmm- yes. Anyway, I think I'll still eat some bananas. Or at least get the strawberry-banana V-8 Fusion. That's got to have potassium in it, right?

Well, since I've finally been taken off of Nortriptyline, I allowed myself a glimmer of hope that I would lose at least some of this damned weight. I'm going to begin going for walks around the campus in the mornings. Starting tomorrow. Also, I'm keeping a food diary. I'm going to try to keep my intake to the recommended daily values, at least to start with. I'd like to be eating LESS of certain things, like carbs, and more protein. I am not allowing myself to eat anything between 11 pm and 7 am. Not even a snack. I can drink as much water as I so desire. No soda or milk. Just water. My Brita pitcher is coming in very handy. I have noted that I'm not getting enough fruits and vegetables, so yesterday when I went to Wal-Mart to buy my microwave, I bought some V-8 Fusion. One serving of fruit and one serving of vegetabgles in each 8 ounce glass. I was going to buy the Lite version, but it doesn't give you as much fruit and veggies. I also purchased some Specia...

I suppose I should update you on the boy status. I won't give you all the gory details, but K-Swiss and I have split ways, romantically. We're still friends though. I saw him yesterday before he left for his parents house. He gave me a hug and said "it'll be okay. We're still friends." It made me really happy. So, we're good. The reason this is good: A couple of days ago in philosophy class, someone said that until you know yourself, no one can satisfy you. No one can really make you happy. So, I'm going to spend some time getting to know myself. "Wise words," said a friend of mine when I told him this.

I just had the strangest dream. One, it involved bears. When I was little, around 8 years old, I used to have dreams of bears chasing me. It was always in a different place, sometimes different kind of bears, but there were always bears chasing me. Secondly, the dream last night occurred at Belmont Abbey College. This is odd because it LOOKED like BAC. Never before in any dream I've had about BAC has it looked right. Everything was right. I'll try to draw a picture because I refer to the dorms and stuff in my dream. So, here is my dream. I'm hanging out in the Poelleth-O'Connell parking lot with some people. I don't really know who most of them are. I know Tiffany and K-Swiss were there. And some people. They might've been FOCUS people (who are at my school over the summer). For some reason, I think they were friends of Tiffany's. I'm standing near K-Swiss and some guy. We hear a growling sound. "Uh-oh," K-Swiss says. I'm scared. I l...

You will not believe what K-Swiss decided to do. About 30 minutes ago, AFTER eating dinner (MY food), AFTER using MY computer to play video games he put on it, K-Swiss decides to tell me that he's not going to be buying me anymore groceries. Nope. None. He doesn't think he should have to. After all, his mom bought the microwave. I was furious. I had bought almost all the groceries until I came home and mom and dad bought a bunch. Food that would've lasted a lot longer if there was only one person eating it. One person who mostly eats rice. He's only been buying stuff like milk, soda, bread. Oh, and hot dogs. MOST of the food we've eaten has been my contribution. I don't have a job right now. I had money at the beginning of the summer and he didn't. So, I helped him out with food. Now he has money and I don't. But, no help for me. I told him I'd take all the food, including his expensive soda. (Sam's cola isn't good enough for K-Swiss. Oh...

In car, eating McDonald's.  K-Swiss reaches over and nicks a fry. I look over at him. He's grinning. "I just stole a French fry." I take a sip of water. "No, I really didn't mind you taking that fry." His shoulders droop. "Suddenly, this French fry tastes horrible." Everything tastes better stolen.
