Older women must "train younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled, chaste, good homemakers, under the control of their husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited" Titus 2:4-5 Please. "Under the control of their husbands" What are you, a rug? Sorry, dear readers. I've just been told that a woman making the first step in a relationship is wrong. Apparently, if I tell a man that I like him, this is wrong. Oops. My b. So, what if I make more money? Oh, wait... am I allowed to have a job? Probably not. Do you even call him on the phone or do you have to wait for him to call you? I know you feel like you "need a man to lead your relationship," but don't push your views on me. I can walk just fine on my own. Yeah, I like to hold a guys hand, but I can see where I'm going without him telling me. But, that's me. I'm not in college just for an MRS degree. Dear D, enjoy the hangover. I feel your pain! Not tonight, but I have before. My major is english. I love literature and I love to write (as you know). I'm not really sure what I plan to do with it. I am enamoured with literature. Oh, poetry, how I love thee! I would love to share that knowledge with others in the form of teaching, but I really, am painfully afraid of getting in front of large groups of people. I actually do not think of him very much at all. I was just wondering about him one day after reading th...

Andrew asked why I wasn't saying anything. "It's unusual to have a silent Mary." I laughed and said that I hadn't meant to be silent. We moved to talk about the random things that friends will often talk about. Today, I sat with my usual group of "friends;" the friends with whom I fit so well. And today, I was quiet. There is a difference between quiet and silent. Especially when the quiet is you sitting, unsmiling, going through the motions and the silent includes you grinning and playing with your earrings. However, no one noticed. Isn't it odd? I think if one of my friends was bummed, I'd notice. If the were quiet, d...
