Crazy weight

Well, since I've finally been taken off of Nortriptyline, I allowed myself a glimmer of hope that I would lose at least some of this damned weight. I'm going to begin going for walks around the campus in the mornings. Starting tomorrow. Also, I'm keeping a food diary. I'm going to try to keep my intake to the recommended daily values, at least to start with. I'd like to be eating LESS of certain things, like carbs, and more protein. I am not allowing myself to eat anything between 11 pm and 7 am. Not even a snack. I can drink as much water as I so desire. No soda or milk. Just water. My Brita pitcher is coming in very handy.

I have noted that I'm not getting enough fruits and vegetables, so yesterday when I went to Wal-Mart to buy my microwave, I bought some V-8 Fusion. One serving of fruit and one serving of vegetabgles in each 8 ounce glass. I was going to buy the Lite version, but it doesn't give you as much fruit and veggies.

I also purchased some Special K protien water. (Man, am I a walking ad today, or what?) Since I've been craving snacks, it helps to drink it. I have nothing really sweet to eat. The protien water helps satisfy that and it curbs my hunger. I don't have more than one a day, though. Other than that, like I said, I've had a ton of water.

I've been peeing like mad all day.

Tomorrow, I'm very excited, I'm going to hard-boil some eggs in my tiny rice cooker (Dad told me how). Also, I contacted someone on Craig's List who is selling a used but well working electric skillet for $5. I could have fried eggs and rice! Yumyumyumyumyum. It would be like being at home. :-)
