Lovely lashes
I have had an impossible time with false lashes and liquid liner in the past. I don't know what it was, but I was just unable to use these products. I think I got frustrated and gave up way to easily.
Saturday, I assembled a new shelf on which I placed all my beauty products (hair, face, cosmetics). The stuff I use every day are on a short table with a mirror that is next to the shelf. I've decided I cannot buy more beauty products than can fit on these two shelves. Some hair and face items are also in the bathroom, of course.
Anyway, I reorganized my makeup and got rid of some old stuff. I came across some Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner. I though, I'll just play around. I'll probably fail. Hard.
Well, I didn't. I liked it a lot. This liner has a felt tip, which I think might be easier for newbs such as myself. In fact, when we went to an Agora party this weekend I wore liquid liner. I have to say, I'm a fan. I still like my Milani better, but I may add this to my every day makeup rotation.
I thought, well if I'm using liquid liner, I might as well try to use falsies. So, after the Agora party, I sat down in my room and pulled out some ELF lashes. I bought several sets years and years ago. I sucked so bad, but I couldn't bring myself to throw them out.
Well, I was actually able to put them on! Yay! I wasn't sure how I felt about having all that on my lid though. Would take some getting used to. I gently pulled off the lashes and cut them so that I could place lashes on only the last third of my lid. Bam! This is it. This is what I like. It really intensified my lashes without being obvious that I was wearing falsies! I am definitely going to start wearing these more regularly. Even better, I asked K-Swiss what he thought about my makeup and he said "Your eyelashes are very pretty." No prompting on what he ought to be looking for. I'm pleased.
The first photo is with full lashes on. The second photo is with lashes on the outer third of my eye.
CAN YOU SEE MY RIDICULOUS HAIR FLIPPING OUT? It needs to be cut. Like now. But more likely, tomorrow.
