HiP Crayons, I will always love you.

I don't have the greatest photo to show this off. This picture was actually taken for Reddit (because of the earrings). But my makeup looks good in this photo so I wanted to talk about it.

I'm a little shiny and my blush is worn off. I've only been wearing lip balm today. But my eyes are exactly how I did them this morning and my concealer (Hard Candy Glamoflauge) is going strong. I primed my lids with Urban Decay Primer potion and applied HiP cream crayon in Authentic all over the lid. These are a bit tough to work with. Maybe it's because mine is old, but it's not super creamy. It's not dried up, but it's just challenging to blend. I topped it with a green shadow from the Coastal Scents 78 piece palette. Also used an ivory shade to highlight. Blue nameless liquid liner from a Wal-Mart gift set. Yeah, you heard me. The baked shadow gift set that sold for $10 over Christmas. K-Swiss's sister gave it to me for Christmas and had some really excellent  liquid liners in blue, green, and a shimmery black. If you click here and enlarge the photo all the way, you can see the blue liquid liner on the left eye.

Now, why is it special that I look pretty decent in the photo? Well, look at my hair. It's up and all weirdy looking. Pulled back. When might I pull my hair back? Only at the gym. That's right, I just got back from the gym. This makeup has gone through a work day and a one hour workout. A workout that involved SWEATING.

These crayons are marketed as a liner, which is super dumb because they are THICK. You would have to sharpen every day to use these as a liner. But they work swimmingly as a base. I haven't seen these in stores for a while, but they are available on Amazon.

P.S. Do I look like an Asian boy? I mean an Asian boy with earrings and eye shadow. My co workers tell me that I'll look like a boy if I got my hair cut really short but I've always wanted to try it.
