"Running"
I think one of the reasons I suck so much at keeping up with running is that I can't just open the door and take off. I have to get in my car and drive somewhere. I don't live somewhere that's even moderately safe to run outdoors. It's an apartment complex that opens out to a busy road. The only road nearby that isn't a major road has blind curves and fast drivers.
Lame.
It's about a 10 minute drive to somewhere that I can run without being concerned about my future as roadkill. The run is pretty. My only concern is avoiding goose poop. But getting my butt into the car in the mornings is hard sometimes. Thinking about bringing running gear to work and running after work on my way home. The greenway is convenient on my commute. And I think if I actually put the clothes on before leaving work, I'd probably run. Okay. I think I'll do that tomorrow.
Oh and I did buy a bunch of stuff today. But most of it was for other people. I bought two things for myself this weekend. First: a new VS bra. That's a legit purchase. First of all, it was on clearance. Secondly, I only own four bras and one doesn't fit anymore. I also bought anti-glare screen protectors. I'm not really worried about protecting my screen, but it's impossible to read anything if there is a light behind you. Super duper shiny. I have no regrets. But I am tracking my purchases again and that's been marked down. I don't intend to make miscellaneous purchases, but seriously, the glare was driving me insane.
My boss took me to lunch today, so that rocks.
I have to work a long day today, so that sucks.
I'm staying late to proctor an exam but I can read a little while they're test taking, so that's okay.
Overall, an OK day.
