Best Compliment Ever

In the courthouse elevator on the way to the jury waiting room. Another juror, a young black man, his pregnant girlfriend, and myself.

Girl: is that a skirt or a dress?
Me: Oh, it's a dress with a shirt on top. Um. I like to layer.
Man: Mmmm, I gotta get my baby mama something like that. Girl, you rocking that!

Basically the weirdest compliment I've ever received. I said Thanks and the elevator doors opened. Serendipity.
