Pixel Imperfect

My colors and bleach kit came in!!! Yay!!!! So, as soon as the color stripper comes in, I'll strip the black and then bleach and then dye. I'll definitely take a bunch of pictures. I cannot wait to have some funky colors! Yay!!!! First: Jerome Russell's Punky Bleach Kit . I picked up the 40 vol. (30 vol. pictured.)It comes with a tint brush, plastic gloves, peroxide, and bleach pack. I've bleached my hair before, don't worry! I just have to wait for the Color Zap to come in to strip out the black in my hair. The two colors I picked up were Special Effects Atomic Pink and Wildflower . If you're ever going to color your hair a funky color, USE SPECIAL EFFECTS! They come out the brightest and stay the longest. It's super easy to use, you just might turn your bathtub a little purple. So excited! I've been looking for the Special K Protien Water: STRAWBERRY FLAVORED for EVER. Both the Wal-Marts were out of it. For a whole month! Bummer. Finally, we went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart last night and they had it!!! Yay!!!! I'm drinking it now. Instead of the 20 ounces of water it says, I use an empty 32 oz Gatorade bottle. I get more protein water and it's still just as sweet. It's way too strong at 20 oz, I think. It's yum! You should try it.

This weekend I went to Oriental Imports in Greenville, SC. I've been having tea with Gemma lately and I wanted to get a tea set. Well, did I ever! I got a very cute tea set and small china tray for cookies. At Ross, I picked up some yummy tea! The tea pictured is Nottingham Assam Tea, it's a black tea. I filled one of the cups with sugar cubes since I don't have a thing for sugar and cream. Not that I use cream. Yummy chocolate chip shortbread fingers! So, after we were done shopping, Tiffany and I were at her place and I offered her some tea. The fruitiest stuff I had was Passion fruit flavored black tea. Tiffany is used to herbal teas (like, say Raspberry Zinger). So I make her this passion fruit tea and give it to her. T: What tea did you give me? S: Passion fruit. T: It's not pink. S: No, that's because it's tea. T: The tea I drink is pink. Lol!

While I was out, I stopped by the dollar store as well, because I heard they had some decent L.A. Colors make-up. For a dollar! So, I went to Dollar Tree first: I got two L.A. Colors eyeshadow palettes . They must've been discontinued because I can't find them one the L.A. Colors website. I got "eye candy" and "precious." Eye Candy has champagne, teal, a coral-y rust color, hot pink, dark lilac, and aqua. Precious has a beige, caramel, chocolate, gold, rust, and burgundy. They're all a little shimmery, not too much. They're fun colors that I haven't played with before. Next, I got Aziza Rocks Liquid Eyes in Easy Teal . This must've also been discontinued. I guess that's how the dollar store works. So, today I wanted to go to Sally Beauty Supply to pick up stuff for coloring and highlighting my hair. Normally I would throw on jeans and a tee, pull my hair into a ponytail, and go. I decided to actually put on my contacts, put on make up, and a nice top that I have never worn. I dunno why. It's pretty cute. I haven't quite gotten the hang of the flat iron, but my hair still looked pretty good, since I cut it this morning. This is all the makeup and tools I used: Face: I started with Max Factor Silk Perfection liquid-to-powder makeup in Cool Bronze . I love this stuff. My mom gave it to me and I'll probably use it until it's discontinued! It's perfect for my face. It's light, I can't even feel the make-up. Goes on smoothly. Next, I swept on Covergirl Tanfastic Bronzer in Soleil . Also got this from my mom. I swept a very light amount along the sides of my face. After this, I swept some Maybelline expert wear blush in Twin Peach on the apples of my cheeks...

I just cut my hair again. Pictures of my new bangs are up at Red Cat Stills . I layered my hair today, but I didn't get any good pictures. I wanted to take some "during" photos, showing me cutting my hair, but it's hard to hold scissors, a comb, and a camera at the same time. Oh well. My hair is drying right now (I had to shower to get all the hair bits off me) and when it's done, I'll do my hair and put some pix up at Red Cat.

This is Mortimer! --The plant, not the trilobite. If you recall, the trilobite is Rocky. I bought Morty at Wal-Mart the other day to brighten up my room. He's pretty small though. So, while I was at it, I decided to take a couple more pix for you. This is my teeny bookshelf. I need a gargantuan one for all my books, really. Pix of me and Lady Tiffany, a shell from Edisto from Shana. Etc, etc... Thrilling, I know. This is a Buddha Board ! I have no idea what it's made of, but you dip the brush into the water (in the black box that the board is sitting on) and you write on the board. It'll fade when it dries and you can draw again. I got it from my friend Tim. At the website you can kinda see what it would be like, but the lines fade a lot faster on the website than they do IRL.
