Broken Steel and The Pitt

BOYFRIEND BOUGHT THE TWO EXPANSIONS FOR FALLOUT AND HE BOUGHT ME RUM. Wow, I have a pretty sweet boyfriend. I just wrote two papers. I am going to take a final in an hour and a half, then go to Dress Barn to fill out, umm, something. Some kind of personality thingy. You know, there are often those in addition to applications. Then I am going to come home and KILL A BUNCH OF SUPER MUTANTS (Sister, if you think radroaches are scary, you are going to pass out when you see a Behemoth). And probably eat a sandwich. Or a pot pie. Then we will go see the new Transformers movie at midnight FOR FREE. Funny things that super mutants say: "Die human!" "I'll wear your spine around my NECK, human!" "I'm going to RIP YOU TO SHREDS, MEAT!!" "Why won't you die!? I'm hungry!!" "Why do you humans ALWAYS FIGHT?!!?" "Well I was hit on the head the other day, and I remembered that I'M A WOMAN!" "OW! Arm HURTS!" ...

Uggg. I have to be in a wedding tomorrow. Not a big fan of weddings. Receptions, I like. Receptions with good music, food, and beverages. Those will probably be the three things I spend the most money on when I get married. Flowers? Pffft. Who cares? Location? As long as it's got a dance floor. Invitations? SERIOUSLY? Why would you care more about the invites than the shindig itself? Anyway, Boyfriend brough me back a shot glass from Nevada. It is super cool. I have yet to break it in. He get's paid today, so maybe he'll buy me some booze. Isn't he wonderful?

I never did get that side stepping march thing down

So, I wanted to start working out, but I don't have a job. This means I have no money for a gym membership. I don't even have money to buy a crappy work out DVD. Luckily, there are TONS of good workout videos online! I found this site that has a whole bunch. You can watch them for free or buy them. ... Why they hell would you pay for them??? It's FREE. I started yesterday with Bootcamp Calorie Burn (note: open in IE, doesn't work with FireFox. Try the IE tab add on for FireFox). It's 30 minutes long. I made it through 10. I thought I was going to die. BABY STEPS. Luckily, this kind of cardio burns a heck of a lot of calories. Regular aerobics burns 354 calories/hour. High Impact aerobics burns 413/hour (for 130 lb person: see here ) I probably won't be able to do the whole 30 minutes for at least a couple weeks. That's a heck of a lot of jumping around.

I do intend to start updating more regularly, I suppose. Maybe I shall pickup a meme or two. I like the Thursday Memes, so maybe I'll pick up a couple of those. Anyway, I went to a bachelorette party this weekend. I'm an honorary bridesmaid for a girl who lived across the street from me during middle school and high school. Honorary Bridesmaid essentially means that I process up the aisle like the rest of the ladies, but I get to sit down during the ceremony. Oh, and my dress doesn't match the theme. It's a plain black dress. There are five of us Honoraries. My sister, this girl, and I were best buds back in the day. But, it's been a while (about 4 or 5 years) since we've actually talked or hung out. Anyway, bachelorette party: honestly, I'm not a fan of them in general. I don't have a lot of girlfriends. In fact, I imagine I'll be hard pressed to find two bridesmaids whenever I get married. And whenever I do get married any "bachelorette" ...

IT'S BACON!

An introduction to some of Sir Tim's Gastronomic Delights: Frying bacon and cooking up some ramen Umm, I love this picture. I don't think Abbey cares for it much, but I think it's delightful Eggs with the ramen to make "Fried Ramen" Some seriously burnt bacon It's okay, the other side is fine. Tim with his complete meal: A bacon weave with fried ramen. Aka: heart attack on a plate. I fried up a couple strips of unweaved bacon for myself and Abbey Also, Tim made hard tack. Essentially whole wheat flour and water. It's like a giant cracker. It's hard as a rock. Keeps forever though, probably.

I was pretty darn good yesterday. Since, like I said, I was setting a more attainable goal of 1488cal/day it was much easier. Actually, the goal is set by My Daily Plate. I enter how much I weight, what my activity level is, and how much I'd like to loose. So I set it at 1lb/week with a "lightly active" level, which is defined as "seated and standing activities, e.g. computer use." So, each time I adjust my weight, it adjust the calories I can have. So, when I weighed myself this morning, it was down a couple pounds! Wooo! That means I can have about 1,464 calories a day to lose one pound per week. Yesterday, I only had 1359 calories, which was almost 125 calories less than my limit. I think it's because I drank so much water. Anyway, hopefully you aren't getting sick of me talking about weight loss. In other news, Papa John's isn't hiring T_T I was going to apply to be a pizza delivery girl. Buuuuut, the hair salon next to Papa John's IS hi...
