The winter isn't the easiest time for me. My mind goes a bit wonky. It's always a bit of a disappointment to me that despite my exciting Steam Sale purchases, I am rarely able to play the games. The exciting shopping rush of Thanksgiving during which I'm SURE my latest purchases will make me happy. The depressing lull that follows when something inevitably happens to destroy my mental state. Limbs and eyelids become heavy. Food tastes like ash. To keep from sinking completely, I need to find a way to keep myself occupied that doesn't take too much effort. Blogging takes effort, playing video games take effort. Stargirl, exhausted after a not terribly busy day at work, is found in bed or on the couch -- because sitting up in the computer chair takes too much effort -- watching Netflix or playing simple puzzle games on her tablet. EDIT: I ended up playing with my camera and got it to take much better photos than the ones below, but I can't be bothered to upload them. You know me.  I don't know anything about cameras. All I know is that mine is crap. So I got a new camera since today is National Buy Stuff Day. This is NOT a review of this camera. I don't know enough about camera-y things to review. Below are pictures from my new and old cameras. The old one is a Fujifilm Finepix A820. The new one is a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX9. I don't really know how to use it yet, so everything is on the auto settings. There are a heck of a lot of settings. For each of the "new camera" pictures, I took a couple and chose from that.
