well, yesterday we (keltic, dan, br. ray, greg williams, and I) went to Partners In Ministry. It was a workshop held by Holy Name Province(out of NY yessir) up in Raleigh NC. It was great. I really dig franciscan spirituality even if the Chapter of Canons think the OFM's need stomping out. They know nothin' baby. I took 2 workshops, one on worship and it's implications on ministry. She talked mostly about the liturgy and us as the body of Christ. It was good. I took lots of notes. The 2nd workshops was on spiritual direction in the franciscan tradition. She talked about what spiritual direction is and stuff like that. It wasn't what I thought it'd be. I don't know what I was looking for. But it wasn't bad... just not what I had been expecting.
After that we drove to Greensboro and spent some time with Dan's ...

Keltic and I were having girl talk about Alan today while she was practicing guitar. She thinks that he might be a little sketchy because he's a lot older than me, but it's up to me if I wanna date him. She was saying that she thinks it kinda bad that I have to hide it, but I told her I just don't want people to freak out. I have a feeling that Katie(program director) is going to ask me about Alan and if she does, I'm not going to lie. What can she do? Fire me? I just told Keltic how I felt about it and how well we mesh. She just nodded. Oh well. She's still a super girlfriend.
Looked at more colleges today. Took Alan's advice to follow my heart and not my head, because I tend to look at colleges near where friends and sig. others and people like that are. So since I was looking at Quincy, St. Vincent, and Madonna (as in the Virgin Mother, not the pop star) Universities first, I think they are my top choices. They're in illinois or indiana or iowa or som...
I got started working out! I'm so happy! I love working out. It makes me feel good about myself. Keltic and I went to the YMCA today to get started on our 12 week program. First four weeks are on the stationary bikes, treadmill, and eliptical. It's pretty cool. I will have to bring my headphones from now on so I don't get too bored. Maybe some vapid magazines. Or make good use of it and read some books! Next four weeks will add some weight machines, so I'm looking forward to that...
I also started working out on my own. I had been doing bits before, but I've got a schedule on my closet door now. Stretches (goal: touch my toes), crunches (goal: be able to do Pilates), push ups (goal: be able to do 20 real push ups with out resting) more crunches, and yoga and meditative breathing to chill me out. For the last bit I sit in lotus and breath for about 10 minutes. Soo nice!

i have been bitten by a lurv bug as i told stevo. Not really love. duh. but i like him. (alan) and i enjoy his company. and we did taxes together. if that isn't infatuation i don't know what is... that is a joke. i am not infatuated.
Alan and I mesh so freaking well together. Better than most relationships I have (relationships as in anybody not just romantic). He's so animated and fun and young. We really did do taxes. And it was enjoyable. Because we spent five straight hours with each other just sitting on the floor of my room and going through stuff and rattling off numbers and handing each other receipts and giving each other random encouragement kisses.
I dig him. he's great.
He got me a giant catapillar from the fair in NC. I named him Legs. He is super. I love cuddling with him

I've been thinking much lately on what I believe. I debated whether or not to put it on here because of the flaming feedback I may receive. I am very much a person who believes in beauty . Beauty of everything. Of people , of light , of thoughts , of art . Of LIFE . I believe in RIGHT and WRONG . I believe in the blurring of lines and I believe in GRAY MATTER . What is right for ME may not be right for YOU. I believe that not all rules should be followed so strictly. If a rule hurts you then there is a reason you should not be such a stickler. My date was so much fun! The conversation flowed better than any first date I've ever been on! Seymour Birdlegs is just a groovy restaurant. After dinner, which consisted of: appetizers of fried green tomatoes and a spinach/artichoke dip (yum!) and also barbeque wings! It was sooo yummy!
Then we went to this little park on Lake Hartwell. It was really pretty. We were sitting at a stone picnic table, he was sitting on one of the benches and I was sitting on the table. We were just talking about life, the universe and everything! I had taken off my boots and he started giving me this great foot massage!
After a while, he had to go to his editing session, so we took off, but Damon (editing dude) wasn't there yet. Alan called him and Damon said he'd be back in an hour, he was visiting his daughter. So we went to Joe Muggs (coffee shop in Books-A-Million). More foot massages. More conversation about everything.
