Hostess is closing*. As in forever. No more Twinkies®. No more awesome cupcakes. No more Ho Ho's®. No more Twinkies®.

Seriously, no one is thinking of the Twinkies. 

KSwiss's thoughts on the matter: "Whatever."
To which I replied: "TWINKIES!"
"Meh," he said. 
"DONETTES!" I cried. "You love donettes! Don't even lie!"

Okay, yes, they've sold off the Twinkie(R) name to someone else. But it won't be the same. 

This is a dark day for inexpensive, ultra-sugary, mass produced, baked goods.

**I don't actually know who's fault it is. Were they striking because of unfair wages? If so, more power to them. Of course they're jobless now, but maybe it'll cause a change in the system? I don't really know how this works long-term.

Dear D, enjoy the hangover. I feel your pain! Not tonight, but I have before. My major is english. I love literature and I love to write (as you know). I'm not really sure what I plan to do with it. I am enamoured with literature. Oh, poetry, how I love thee! I would love to share that knowledge with others in the form of teaching, but I really, am painfully afraid of getting in front of large groups of people. In fact, there was a poetry reading tonight and I could not find the strenght to stand. We will see. Perhaps I will find a way to make money with my writing. I am pleased that I look like Gogo from Kill Bill. I have flail earrings and I tried to be her for halloween one year (I couldn't get a real flail). So, I've finally got my finalized schedule for my little road trip. --Dad says it isn't a little road trip, it's a big road trip, but I suppose he's just worried about his little girl. But, then again, when he was 19 he drove from Michigan to California. Hmmm... :-) -- I've modified it greatly, so that it resembles a visit to Virginia more than an actual road trip. I've decided to hold visiting PA for a while; I may tag along with my sister when she goes. Anyway, on the 4th, I will be leaving here at the ungodly hour of 7 am, carrying all I need for school, and of course, coffee. I'll stop at my school on the way up to drop off some school things, get more coffee, and pick up my new mouse from the school post. How else will  K-Swiss and I play Diablo when we get bored? You really cannot play it with the touch pad. I will make my way up to Maryland to visit my friend, Andrew. I'm totally stoked. I haven't seen him since exams were up last May. I...
